Paddle for the Cure

The news riveted our attention, even as the shock settled into our bones. Someone we loved became another statistic, another life put on hold to wage war against the monster Cancer. Over the past few months our Ozark Outdoors family has grieved. In the form of tears, encouragement, panic, prayers, and even laughter; our bonds are strengthened. A soul-wrenching combat knits our hearts in a unified cause - to stand shoulder to shoulder so we can win a hard-fought victory.

In less than a month we will host our First Annual Paddle for the Cure event. We invite you to stand with us. This is personal, and we want to help others in a similar predicament. Come help us celebrate the lives of those valiant warriors who fight the good fight.

May 16, 2009 promises to be a day of hope as we walk together, paddle together, eat together and play together. It promises to be a day of love and friendship; a day none of us will ever forget."

Regret not a life of trial and failure, but a life of failure to try."
